The lovely Cargolover (now departed from MUA) kindly sent me a package this week of some things she had dupes of from the range, Becca.
Becca is an Australian brand, started by Make up artist, Rebecca Williams.
Prior to this, I owned the Becca concealer (two sides, one with medium, one with heavy coverage in the same shade), which I like, but don’t use that much because the stick form is easier.
In it’s very sleek, simple silver and dark chocolate packaging, Becca is an expensive but gorgeous high quality brand. There just isn’t one close to me so I’ve never had the chance to try a lot of the things out.
Anyway, here is what I got in the post:
Line & Illuminate Pencil in Capri & Cream Eyeshadow in Quartz –
Quartz is a shimmery nude, a good base for powder –
This is a swatch of the pencil, but it doesn’t really give the pencil justice. The pencil is very soft to use, and the silver side has glitter particles in it, similar to Nars’s glitter pencils, but softer and creamier. The silver/black combination is very versatile and wearable:
You can buy Becca online (and at Sephora for the lucky US ladies), right
* erm, I have been to look and an awful lot of stuff is out of stock in the UK…which can only mean it’s good stuff!
** I think I’ve solved my present dialemma – a Best of Becca Palette of course!
