One of my favoured Korean brands is Tony Moly, which sounds like a a shop that sells Italian cinnamon buns (it does to me, okay?) but in fact releases some of the more interesting and effective products on that market (my success rate with this brand is much higher than with Holika Holkia or Etude House!).
I love their fun brightly coloured summer ranges – it was fab last year – this eye crayon was my life (be warned, Korean stick products seem to dry out fast). This year’s collection, Wonder Pool isn’t all to my taste, but I adored these two super bright polishes:
05 and 02 (sorry wrong way around in the photo!).
I love fun bright nail colours for the summer. As I don’t really have the time to do my nails if I do them, I want you to know I did them!
Shade 02 is a super neon bright clean pink which I really like for how bright it is. I have only got 1 coat on in the picture below but certainly 2 coats would give a nice opaque finish. The application is nice and smooth and with base and top coat it lasted 3 days before a chip.
05 is a glittery turquoise blue. The particles are smaller glitter and it applies evenly.
I have 2 layers on here. One big issue with this pretty colour is that it got quite gloopy (I’ve used it twice) a bit like a slightly tacky glue. I would much rather it had a nice light thinner texture since it’s easier to apply and the thickness makes it take a while to dry. It’s not a HUGE problem with this kind of glitter – I mean it’s not hard to make glitter look ok whereas if it were an opaque colour, I think it could give a bit of a gloopy finish.
I only paid £3 each for these, cannot complain as the colours are cute and fine to apply.
