Didn’t they used to tell you not to brush your hair when it’s wet? Well, I always did – sorry – because if I waited till it was dry, I would look like a poodle.
Now – I hate ouch-y brushes. I have one precious brush, a cheap old thing from Goody which is wonderful for detangling but doesn’t hurt. However – I have never been able to get an exact back up and it’s on it’s last legs. Anything else I have tried so far has been pants, and does hurt – I don’t mind the tangle teaser but I feel like it can’t truly get through my huge knots. Then came…the Wet Brush!
I’ve been meaning to try this for ages but I evener got around to it. It’s a brush. It’s hardly interesting. It’s about as interesting as reviewing a panty liner. Anyway…they say:
- Ouchless detangler and massager
- Works great on wet and dry hair
- Perfect for men, women and kids
- For thick, curly and straight hair
- Soft flexible bristles detangles hair with ease
- Soft,rubberized non-slip grip for a secure, comfortable hold
Anyway I have been using this in the shower or just after for a while and I can declare….this DOES work. It’s great. Really great.
It works though my super knotty hair with ease (hurrah!) with minimal pain. It works well on dry hair too and basically, even on my ridiculously dry hair, it takes about 8 brushes, max and my hair is finger-runnable-through. It’s quick, it’s easy and it’s pretty affordable too.
Now, all I need is a handbag version as this is quite a large brush!
Highly recommended for people who find brushing their hair painful in anyway or wants to find a good brush to use on wet hair (even though you’re not supposed to do that!).
