I am quite a fan of electrical beauty devices, I have certainly tried quite a few, but the ones that get the most use are usually cleansers. I currently have a Clarisonic (I don’t tend to use much), a Foreo (I use quite a lot as it’s gentle) and now, I have this nifty device from BeGlow.
This device is the Tia Sonic Skin Care System which has both a cleanser on one side and a vibrating cleansing and lifting side.
It comes in a selection of colours, mine is white. It also comes with a storage pouch and charger.
The device uses dual pulse technology which is supposed to increase in intensity as it touches the skin. You can adjust the pulse to suit yourself so that it is more energising or relaxing too. One charge lasts 6 months, and it is totally waterproof to use in the shower etc.
The cleansing side has a silicone head which is replaceable too.
So I do really like that fact that this is dual purpose rather than having two separate devices to remember. It’s a substantial size, and easy to hold because of the shape.
The cleansing side is great and reminds me of the Foreo, although the bristles are a little shorter. It works nicely with all cleansers but in particular foaming ones – it just has an edge over using your hands. I like it especially around the nose area where I get congestion.
I really like the silver side too, which you can use around your jawline and cheeks to give a lifting effect.
There’s a on the best way to use it.
I love this side because it feels so cooling not he skin and relaxing, After my skin does feel lifted and generally bright (not saying it’s like a face lift but you can see the increased glow). I would definitely use this with a serum, something that doesn’t sink in too fast to give it some glide, (ie. perfect after a sheet mask).
Battery life is great too, I haven’t had to recharge it.
* After our break I couldn’t find it anywhere so I thought it was gone for good! But I managed to find it stuck in a random pocket of the suitcase eventually – PHEW!
It is a pricey device although the Clarisonic, Foreo aren’t exactly cheap either.
If your budget does stretch, I can say that I genuinely have enjoyed using this and will continue to do so.
