Have you met (must remember where to put the apostrophe) yet? The Japanese brand by Kanebo replaced my beloved T’estimo a while back and although I have several of their palettes, lipsticks and blushers, we are still only acquaintances.
I love Gel liners though. Booby Brown does the sensible colours the best but what about the sparkly fun ones? Coffret D’or has two from the new colours:
DB04 is a dark navy with glitters and PK03 is a light shimmery cotton candy pink.
Japanese brands tend to be a bit pedantic with names, BK for black, two variations of black will be BK1, BK2. Don’t ask me why its DB04? PK03…well I haven’t seen PK01 or 02 yet…anyway. Now look whose being pedantic.
(I put DS instead of DB, so sue me, I can’t afford glasses…)
These are quite firm textured compared to the creaminess of Booby’s gel liners, but once you spread the texture, its wonderful, pigmented, rich, and the blue is more stunning than I expected, with lots of microsparkles:
The pink is hot too, but as a highlighter I think, inner corner of the eyes kind of thing.
These liners come with a small retractable brush too which is actually, unlike the crap brushes you normally get, useful and stylish.
I wasn’t sure if this would be any good, Coffret D’or’s glitter eyeliners for example are a big pile of crap but these gel liners are lovely and well worth getting! I bought mine from I think with shipping they are about £13-£14.
