I was recently sent some lovely bits of make up from from their Tropical Daydream collection to try. I am not sure of how many of you know of the brand but I really do like their stuff – I have a few items I use regularly (such as the brow mascara).
The Tropical Daydream collection which was released on May the 30th consists of a few items:
There is the Wide Eyed Liner (£13), Passionate Lip Lover in Sunblush 14, Sunburst 15 (£14.95), Celestial Skin Shimmer in Rose Quartz (£27.50) ( I have the shade Aurora which is NOT part of this collection but is an alternative colour).
Her are the three items that are part of the Tropical Daydream collection:
The Passionate Lip Lover collection has a creamy, hydrating, glossy, pigmented finish. It’s a really nice alternative to all the mattes that are going around and in this warm weather, it feels a lot more soothing and comfortable to wear. It’s so hydrating it feels like a lip balm to me – soooo soothing.
I LOVE the Wide Eyed Liner. I am always looking for the right beige or cream to use on my waterline. I find white far too stark on my skin tone, and my previous favourite by Stila would slide off within an hour so I gave up. This one is PERFECT – it’s soft enough to not scratch your eyes, it’s pigmented so you don’t have to go over it again, it’s also a very natural shade which doesn’t look stark but takes way any redness and makes you look more awake.
Additionally I have the (£27.50) (Which was my request as I love the brown tones in this). Remember when Bobbi Brown shimmer bricks were everything? These are like that but better – they are softer and the shimmer is finer.
Aurora is a mixture of brown, peach, cream, rose. It works as a blush, a highlighter, as eyeshadow. The only reason you may not like this is if you prefer mattes – if you like shimmer and glowing colours then you will like this.
Here I am wearing the products and the Sunblush pink lipstick which I find to be a nude pink:
I am also wearing Aurora and the eyeliner.
Here I am in Sunburst which is an orange red, but sheer enough to not feel too bright:
