Merymaya makes one of my favourite cleansing balms; so I had high hopes for their new Everything Everywhere Beauty Oil (£26.50 for 50ml).
I am a big fan of high quality beauty oils for the face, scalp and body – the emphasis on good quality, not a mineral oil that’s basically scented and dyed – because in this harsh cold weather my skin dries out easily.
This Everything Everywhere oil contains good ingredients like Jojoba Seed Oil, Oat Oil, Squalene, Grapeseed Oil, Kahai Oil which contains 50% more Vitamin E than Argan oil and three times more retinol than Rosehip oil (although this is not the top listed oil). It is a solid blend of oils suitable for use all over….
So where can we use this everywhere oil? According to Merymaya;
Skin (face and body)
Lashes & Brows (if you are in to that).
I personally tested it on my face and scalp because I have a very flaky sensitive annoyingly dry scalp.
This golden oil is a medium thick oil, the texture is fine as is the smell.
I quite like this as a blended oil mixed with my face cream – it doesn’t seem to make it go funny or separate. It also doesn’t look to sweaty either!
I have various face oils I am using at the moment, I would say this is somewhere near the top but not at the top – it’s a decent none irritating formula, great for hydration but I have other oils that also make my face look brighter, for example.
On my scalp, I love this! I rubbed this in and left it over night then shampooed out the next day. My scalp felt nicely hydrated, flakes were lifted and it just helped my dreaded dry scalp.
I do like that you can use this for various things and quantity means you can be a little bit generous with it.
A good quality oil which I have had liked using and I would keep this in my collection for sure. It’s handy for travel as I cause it for multiple things and I hate carrying too many things with me!
