I think I’ve mentioned before that my relationship with Integrate is so-so. Some of the products are excellent, some are below average.
I was rather pleased to try out the Integrate Powder Foundation and Primer (both purchased from Adambeauty.com – my favourite online make up store in the world).
It’s nice to see a Japanese store dabble in mineral make up! I find it so interesting that mineral make up seems so popular in the US, but is not so popular in say, Asia.
I bought the powder foundation in OC30 which is dark enough for my NC35 skintone (I find OC30 in MAQUillage is also right for my skintone):
The case is sold separately so bear this in mind. Even so, it’s not expensive (about £14 together) and the primer also looked promising.
This pale cream evens out the skintone, reduces redness and smooths out pores. I like it a lot even though it does make one look a little ashy at first.
I like the base a lot – purely because I tend to prefer creams over vert siliconey primers. This spreads nicely on the skin in preparation for the powder foundation…Here is the primer on it’s own. Skin looks smoother, but some blemishes are still visible:
Powder Foundation – the powder is super creamy and soft. Powder foundation I love but generally leaves my skin look a bit crusty and dry. This feels rich and soft on the skin, easily covering blemishes but I must admit, I still think it looks a little “dry”.
If you have combo-oily skin with no dryness, you’d love this.
Coverage is good and oil control seems ok on me but I don’t know how good it would be for oily skin. It seems quite creamy and combined with a creamy base, it might feel a little too much for very oily ladies.
Products used together:
A huge of this is that it’s super easy to apply – primer and foundation on in a matter of minutes.
I will use this for sure, especially on greasy days and also when you are in a rush. It does highlight the driest spots on my face so it’s not a must have or a everyday item for me.
I bought these from adambeauty.com.
