Could there be anything more glam than reviewing mouth care products? (the answer is YES). However – we need to talk about all things, no? Not just the Chanel.
So let me talk about Corsodyl. A huge fear in my life is Dentist. I have a lot of fillings. I don’t know why I do (LOOKS AT MOTHER, BLAMES HER FOR POOR DENTAL HEALTH AS A KID) but yeah, I have a deep rooted fear. For a long time I knew my wisdom tooth had to go but I didn’t get it done because I was scared. Eventually the pain and decay got too much (it was a weird shape and was impossible to clean) so I had no choice. I was lucky as I had amazing dentists looking after me but it was a shock to have mouth surgery. Anyway – CORSODYL. You need this stuff if you have having gum surgery.
This is the daily care stuff which is good for upkeep. If you have healing then don’t buy this, buy the medicated stuff which contains chlorhexidine. They told me to rinse with salt water which was pants. CORSODYL is the answer. My mouth got much better after regular rinsing with that.
But after the worst week of pain I was ready to keep things up. I was sent this Corsodyl mouth wash and toothpaste to use and it has been useful in keeping everything topped up. Even 3 weeks after there is some soreness and tenderness in the area so this promotes gum healing.
The mouth wash is great -nice and refreshing and not drying to the mouth like some washes can be. This can be used as a regular mouth wash not just if you have gum issues.
The toothpaste helps treat bleeding gums. It has a salty minty taste and I have to be honest it is not for everyone because of it’s gel-gritty type texture but I don’t think you’d be getting this toothpaste unless you have some gum issues anyway. In which case – you use this for what it offers as opposed to the taste!
All in all Corsodyl has made my mouth healthy and heal up so much faster. Highly recommended post mouth surgery and if you have gum issues.
