Is it weird to get someone presents for their feet for Christmas?
Well, probably if its the secret santa at work. But if it’s someone you know who could do with some TLC – then hell yes! I would’ve loved a foot file as a gift a few years ago! The thing is, feet are usually the last thing people tend to think about and look after – someone like mother for example, is constantly on her feel but would never dream of going for a pedicure.
Therefore buying her an electric foot file is a good way to encourage her to look after her feet in the privacy of her own home etc. etc.
My favourite foot file is Scholl’s Velvet Smooth – it’s sturdy and works well without taking off too much hard skin which is a seriously bad idea as it can hurt to walk and the hard skin can come back even worse if you are too rough on your heels. (Been there, done that with a manual foot file). This one looks like it can be too rough but it isn’t at all.
Get soft beautiful feet effortlessly. Velvet Smooth™ Roller Head with long lasting micro-abrasive particles now comes with finely ground diamond crystals. It buffs away hard skin in an instant* leaving you with fabulous visibly smooth feet.
Ergonomically-designed soft touch handle – Replaceable Roller Head with Diamond Crystals – Gentle & Effective Rotating Action – Battery Operated – Ready to use
You can buy the file alone or with a kit as above which comes with creams and tools.
You can also replace the head of this which makes sense – and you can get an extra coarse head if you want more hard skin removal action. It also comes in pink!
My used one, sorry:
Also I have been testing the Nail Care System (but I deleted the damn photo by accident) – there is basically three heads to file, buff and shine. The electronic side just speeds it along a bit (like with the foot file you can always do it manually too) but I supposed doing it electronically just makes it quicker and a bit more fun.
The filing action actually goes right through me (not kidding – I have never filed my nails and it makes me cringe when people try to do it during manicures) so I quite like that the machine essentially does the filing for me!
