Good afternoon all!
Today I am reviewing my latest lipstick purchased from 3CE, which is actually part of a Korean fashion brand called Stylenanda, but happen to make some cool beauty products too. Their newest release is a limited edition collaboration with Barbapapa, a French character which looks like an pink blob that came to life in story books first, then as a animated series.
I have two of the lipsticks and they are pink with cute stickers on for this limited collection:
I have never actually heard of Barbapapa before, so I didn’t buy these for that! I have been told it is a much loved series though. See my full collection here.
Just a note for you all – there are a lot of fake 3CE make up items on eBay. Always buy from a reputable source, the prices should be around £15 or so for a lipstick, check the name of the lipstick you are buying to make sure it actually exists, and there should be a hologram sticker on the box, and each lipstick has a long sticker on the actual barrel that holds it together.
On to the lipstick! There are only 3 in this collection.
111 – Matte Formula, a bright warm pink.
112 – Original Formula (pigmented, creamy), a creamy orange.
113 – Original Formula, med toned brownish pink.
I have not always loved every single 3CE lipstick I own, but these two really are lovely. They feel like an improvement on previous formulas.
Both of the colours are very smooth to apply and pigmented. The colours are spot on for me – fun but wearable too.
111 is quite a bold bright pink without being clownish or too unwearable for day to day wear. It’s a gorgeous matte – it is 100% matte but also soft and creamy too. As it is quite creamy, I blot otherwise it settles in to the lines. I do love it though.
113 is the perfect everyday lip colour for me – MLBB as they say (my lips but better). It’s got the right mixture of pink, rose and brown and has a gorgeously creamy and slightly glossy HEALTHY finish that makes the lips look juicy.
The matte colour is very long wearing and there were traces of it until the end of the day. The original formula does not last as long but it’s no huge issue for me (about 2-3 hours but leaving a hint of colour).
Here are the lipsticks on me.
I adore both of these so much, I will also buy the middle colour and I am tempted to get a back up of shade 113.
I paid about £16 each for these from Tester Korea.
